Rasta Pasta

Ingredients (4 servings):

  • 3 tsp Jerk Up Tings

  • 1 lb (450 g) Chicken Breast

  • 1/2 Onion

  • 3 Cloves Garlic

  • 0.7 lb (320 g) Pasta

  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese

  • 7 oz (200 ml) Heavy Cream or Panna

  • 3 tsp Olive oil

  • Parsley

  • 4 Basil leaves

STEP 1. Rub chicken with Jerk Up Tings and let marinate for at least 30 mins.

STEP 2. Cook chicken in olive oil.

STEP 3. After chicken is done, cut it up how ever you like it.

STEP 4. Shred garlic or cut it into small pieces however you like and chop onions finely.

STEP 5. Boil pasta.

STEP 6. Sauté onions and garlic in olive oil, until onions are soft.

STEP 7. Add heavy cream or panna to your onions and garlic, with the stove on low. You DO NOT want to cook the sauce with stove on high, because it will burn.

STEP 8. Add Parmesan cheese little by little while continuously stirring.

STEP 9. Add Jerk Up Tings and a few basil leaves, while continuing to stir the sauce.

STEP 10. Add pasta to the sauce.

STEP 11. Combine chicken in the same pot or add it to the plate.

STEP 12. Sprinkle parsley on pasta for presentation and enjoy!
